Training & Placements

The primary responsibility of an institute is to build strong links and interaction with the industry and professionals. SGHCMT has an active placement cell to assist its students, who successfully complete MCA, BCA, BBA program, in getting suitable placements. The Placement Cell interacts with industry representatives and networks with them for placements. As a part of the placement efforts, every year the placement team of SGHCMT visits a number of potential employers and placement consultants, and they are informed about the knowledge and practical application skills acquired by the students.

SGHCMT invited Wipro Technologies, India's leading IT company to provide employment opportunity for final year BCA students. The company provides WASE (Wipro Academy of Software Excellence) programme, which is one of the oldest and most successful "Earn while you Learn" course. Many students of SGHCMT are already employed in Wipro under the same programme, in which the company provides a 4-year MS degree programme in Software Engineering. This masters degree is off-campus collaborative programme from BITS, Pilani, a premier reputed institution of India.
