Meditation In the present scenario of growing unrest, corruption and indiscipline in the society, meditation has become the need of the day. A course on meditation is being offerded in the college campus on regular basis. All the faculty & the students can participate and practise meditation. The Program is conducted by Ms.Monisha Chauhan (Asst. Prof.) (Member of SRCM-Shri Ram Chandra Mission-A spiritual organization based on Sahaj Marg). Sahaj Marg (The Natural Path) is a Raja Yoga system of spiritual training based on heart centered meditation, simplified for modern life. The students are urged to use meditation as a tool to reach a balance between the inner and outer selves. |
Kirat Carnival To commemorate the birth centenary of Dr. Inderjit Singh, a renowned banker, “KIRAT CARNIVAL” was conducted in Sri Guru Harkrishan C o l l e g e o f M a n a g e m e n t a n d Technology with the collaboration of SUKRIT Trust,Ludhiana. Dr. Sarabjeet Singh (Professor of Journalism in Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana) and S. Jaswinder Singh Khalsa (UK) and their team spoke on the importance of work and prevailing social evils. They emphasized the need to refrain the youth from taking drugs and to eradicate the evil of female foeticide. The speakers focused on the need to imbibe the values mentioned in the religious scriptures. Speakers motivated the students for spiritual growth because no nation can progress without strong character. Many students from the college also participated in the seminar and gave presentations on topics such as 'Work is worship', 'Career Guidance' and 'Secrets of Success'. |

Dr. Keshav Sharma (Kellog School of Management), Dr. P.S.Gill (Professor of Management at Punjabi University, Patiala), Dr. Inderjit Sheera (Director-HR, Cambridge University), Dr. Prem Kumar (Professor emeritus, Rayat Bahra Group) attended the inaugural session where research papers on various aspects of marketing were discussed. |
